At present we do not have a cut-off time as we believe the tide will assist everyone to a significant extent. However, please make sure you enter an accurate estimate of your swimming time upon entry to help us with our planning.

Yes it is, but you can swim in a smaller, more relaxed wave. If you do want to get a place, you need to be in one of the mass-start waves.

Yes you can. If you want to get a place in the wetsuit division, you must join the mass-start wetsuit wave.

Yes you do. The back up date is there to give us the best chance of running the event given the unpredictable nature of the weather!

Water temperature will be about 16 - 18 degrees celsius.

There are no other ferry swims in Victoria and very few around the world. This is special! Also, the stretch of water is clean, the scenery is beautiful and the assistance from the tide is great fun!

Yes there is. If you want to win or place in the no-wetsuit wave you must swim in that mass-start wave.
