Meet at the Sorrento Ferry terminal to check in. There you will be directed to a spot on the ferry and soon you will enjoy the trip over to the start

The journey


The ferry trip will take about 20 minutes. During this time you can make your final preparations, chat to fellow swimmers and enjoy the scenery!

The start - approx. 3pm

This is a real buzz! You will jump off the ferry! You’ll also have the choice when you sign up to either race in a mass-wave or start with a small group.

Your swim - 6km with the tide!


You will swim with the incoming tide, so will feel fast and strong! The course will be supervised by a fleet of kayakers and rescue craft. There will be enough to keep you safe, but not too many to diminish your enjoyment of the clear open water.
